Join the NiyantraX Virtual Research Lab
NiyantraX Research Lab is currently operating as a virtual research and innovation lab. Our physical office lab in India will open soon. We welcome motivated bachelor's and master's students who want to work on AI security, cybersecurity, GRC, penetration testing, digital forensics, cyber law, and human-centered security research.
Who can apply?
Bachelor's and master's students in cybersecurity, computer science, IT, AI, data science, digital forensics, law, management, or related fields.
Current mode
The lab is currently virtual. Students may collaborate remotely on research, reports, prototypes, case studies, and guided innovation projects.
PhD applicants
PhD student collaboration will be introduced soon. At present, the lab is focused on bachelor's and master's student participation.
Research areas
How the lab works
- • Students apply with a proposal, CV, SOP, and recent research work.
- • Selected students will be assigned research themes or project tracks.
- • Work may include literature review, proof-of-concept building, reports, datasets, tools, case studies, and publications.
- • Collaboration is remote-first until the physical India lab opens.
- • Students must maintain professional communication, research ethics, and confidentiality.

Terms and conditions
Participation in the NiyantraX Research Lab is selective and does not guarantee employment, internship, stipend, authorship, or certification unless explicitly confirmed in writing.
All applicants must submit accurate information and agree to follow research ethics, confidentiality, responsible disclosure, academic integrity, and lawful cybersecurity practices.
Any security testing, vulnerability research, or forensic activity must be performed only in authorized environments. Unauthorized hacking, illegal access, or misuse of lab resources is strictly prohibited.
NiyantraX may review, accept, reject, or discontinue applications or participation based on fit, conduct, project scope, and lab capacity.
